Now, according to our tipster, they’ll bring in a new manufacturer and release the entry-level ZTE Lite Tablet. This is another 7-incher and has a resolution of 1026×600, comes with a 2MP camera that captures 720p video and barely a front-facing camera. Samsung not interested in making...   0 Comments

There may be more Samsung Galaxy handsets than you can shake an oversized stick at, but it seems those holding out hope for a Samsung galaxy Facebook model shouldn't hold their breath. The company have revealed they have no intention of making a Facebook-focussed phone while their own TouchWiz UI is on phones shipping so impressively.

According to the Korea Herald, Facebook top dog Mark Zuckerberg met with Samsung's heads on Tuesday to discuss the possibility of a "Facebook-friendly" phone. However, following the meeting key Samsung executives Lee Jay-yong and Shin Jong-kyun indicated that it was not an avenue they were... Posted in Cell Phone News By   admin

HTC One with Windows Phone launching this fall?   0 Comments

It looks like HTC is working on an HTC One variant that would run Windows Phone 8 rather than Android. The information comes from Neowin, which claims that such a device could be launched at some point in the fall, featuring a 4- to 5-inch screen, “a mostly metal body,” and Windows Phone 8 GDR3. An Ultrapixel camera may also be included, but that’s still not confirmed.

The HTC One is the second best-selling high-end Android smartphone (after Samsung Galaxy S4) and it makes perfect sense for the Taiwanese company... Posted in Cell Phone News By   admin

Tokyo court rules Samsung copied Apple’s...   0 Comments

Samsung has infringed on Apple’s patent covering a “bounce-back” feature, a Tokyo court has decided. The Korean company reportedly copied the feature in which icons on smartphones and tablets quiver back when users scroll to the end of a document.

The decision comes on the heels of USPTO’s ruling in April which said that Apple’s “bounce-back” patent was invalid, allowing older Samsung models that have the similar feature to remain on sale.

In another lawsuit in August 2012, the Tokyo District Court rejected Apple’s claim Samsung stole its technology that enabled music syncing between a smartphone and... Posted in Unlocking Updates By   admin
